Statement from Prosper President Kimberly Wold on Governor Doug Ducey’s proposed budget:
“Prosper is pleased to see that Governor Ducey has presented a balanced budget that doesn’t raise taxes. If passed, the budget will force government to operate within its means and provide much-needed relief to Arizona taxpayers.
For far too long the Arizona government hasn’t been held accountable. Taxpayers and job growth suffer when a government is ruled by corporate cronyism and slush funds.
Predictably, the biggest critics of Governor Ducey’s proposed budget are the same organizations and lobbyists who championed the reckless spending that hasn’t served Arizona or its citizens.
Governor Ducey’s proposed budget is a positive step in putting the power back in the hands of taxpayers.”
